FIRST SOUTH PARK MEETING!

Hello Friends!

We had an amazing TOTAL WELLNESS BUSINESS ALLIANCE meeting on Wednesday, October 27, 2010! It was our first South Park morning meeting, and the energy in the room was electric! We had 14 natural health professionals and related businesses in attendance, and the synergy created was very exciting!

Lorna Winemiser, a licensed Professional Counselor and Energy Medicine Coach, was our speaker for the meeting, and she gave an enlightening presentation on EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques). Thank you Lorna! Everyone benefited from the meeting and was excited to be there. We will meet as a group once a month. Due to the Thanksgiving holiday, our next meeting will be held:

The goal of the group is to become a more complete resource for our clients and patients, while at the same time exposing our own services to a broader audience and to be referred by other trusted health professionals!

The group consists of natural health professionals and related businesses from a wide variety of expertise and modalities. The goal is to learn, develop relationships and grow! SEPTEMBER NETWORKING

WE HAD TWO GREAT MEETINGS IN SEPTEMBER!

Our first meeting was held on Monday, September 13th with Don Nicholas, founder of Revita Anti Aging and Revita Medical, as our speaker. We had a packed house and a lot of great networking took place!

Don showed us how he was able to help men and women regain lost energy and vigor, sharpen thinking, improve memory, decrease body fat and transition their bodies into more lean muscle. He explained through is power point presentation how, with their innovative therapies, they are able to help patients actually get better with age! The health professionals at REVITA help people experience clarity of mind and vitality of body that they may not have experienced for decades! Everyone benefited from Don's information. We were all ready to run to REVITA to feel as good as he described and demonstrated! Very exciting stuff!

Our last meeting was held on Monday, September 27th with another awesome presentation, this time on a business topic. We had Sindo Mayor describe how bartering through TRADEBANK, can help every business, especially in this economy!

Experience Somato-Respiratory Integration for Stress Relief

Hello Again!

WOW! What an experience! Lynn Lyon LCSW, a Mind-Body Psychotherapist with Network Wellness Center of Charlotte, gave all of us a taste of what Somato-Respiratory Integration can do for the mind and body in relieving stress and tension at our last Total Wellness networking meeting on Monday August 23rd. It was a unique experience, and enlightened us about how we can get a handle on our own body, our own mind and thus our whole life to create peace and balance for ourselves.

She and Dr. Matt host workshops on a monthly basis which includes teaching everyone truly exceptional ways to transform stress, increase energy, improve mental clarity, and experience more connection to who they truly are in a very short period of time. Lynn combines traditional "talk" therapy with leading edge body awareness tools such as SRI. She works with individuals, couples and groups. She is able to help anyone who feels stuck, overwhelmed or in a crossroads in their life. If you feel like you can't turn your mind off, or would just like to feel more balanced and relaxed, SRI might be just the ticket, and Lynn can guide you through the process, and even show you how you can accomplish this balance and peace anytime ... on your own!

Lynn offers a free consultation to help anyone see where they are, where they want to go and how she can support them in their efforts to get there. It's a full hour consultation! What she shared with us during her presentation was fascinating, and I believe everyone in attendance is grateful that we met her. Many of us plan to participate in one of her free workshops.

New Gene Technology for Anti-Aging Revealed

Hello to all,

We had a great presentation from Jessica Beando from NuSkin Enterprises, on Monday August 9th, showing us breakthrough gene technology that literally "turns back the clock" on aging! Her live demonstration was revealing as she uncovered and addressed one of the most visible signs of aging ... wrinkles!

Using the galvanic current along with new ageloc technology, she reduced the wrinkles of our volunteer from the audience by at least 50% within a 5 minute demonstration! Pretty surprising! Especially considering this occurred with the very first application! It's exciting to think what continued use would do!

We had a great meeting and our thanks go out to all who attended. We are looking forward to our next meeting that will be held on Monday, August 23rd starting at noon sharp until 1:00 pm, with networking beginning at 11:30 am. There is a convenient little cafe down the hall from our conference room where anyone who wishes can pick up something to eat. Our Fourth Meeting of TWBA - Thank You to Members & Guests!

Thanks to all who attended out Total Wellness Business Alliance meeting on Monday, July 26th. We had a great group of natural health professionals join us. Nice to see new faces as well as familiar faces. It's exciting to meet new people in the industry. So much to learn and to share!

We had a very engaging speaker, Stephanie Slavin, who has been an advocate for natural health and natural health remedies for over 25 years, and whose insights into health, wealth and happiness held us captive and enlightened us. I believe everyone felt that they benefited from her presentation! Thank you Stephanie.

The Board of Directors were introduced to the group, and I will introduce them here also.

• BETTY REYNOLDS, a Certified Business and Life Coach at the Center for Wealth and Well-Being, is our VP of Membership. She outlined membership details for the group and is the go-to person regarding membership questions and concerns. She does a phenominal job and we're privileged to have her with us.
• ALAN CLARK, with the Charlotte Business Journal, is our VP of Marketing. We are excited to have him on board to help market and brand our group. He has many Charlotte connections, and we feel he is a perfect fit for this position!
• VICKIE BUNZEY, owner of Your Balanced Lifestyle is a Certified Health Coach and is our new VP of Education. She will be responsible for providing educational speakers for our group, as well as providing interesting topics for discussion. We are equally excited to have her on board.
• JESSICA BEANDO is the Regional Director for PNC and oversees a number of groups in the Charlotte area. She will partner with Vickie in the VP of ED role, as well as provide outside events for the group to participate in. To have her directly involved with our group is a bonus for us and will be a big help to all of us. She is a distributor an Anti-Aging Expert with NuSkin Enterprises.

Total Wellness Business Alliance is made up of a group of natural health professionals who understand the power of coming together and learning more about each other's profession and sharing our knowledge regarding a variety of health topics and concerns. This includes, Chiropractors, Reiki Masters, Massage Therapists, Distributors of natural health products, Nutritionists, Acupuncturists, Microscopists, Herbalists, Anti-Aging Experts, Life Coaches and Naturopaths to name a few.

Individually, we hold a piece of the wellness puzzle, but collectively, we create a holistic picture of wellness. This means that, by coming together and sharing our expertise, we can become a more complete resource for our clients and patients. It also opens the opportunity for each of us to be referred to a much broader audience by other trusted health professionals. Everyone benefits. This is the premise behind the development of this group.

We meet the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month from 11:30am - 1:00pm at the beautiful Water Oak Conference Center in the Oak Hill Business Park off Arrowood Rd. near the freeway. The address is 8720 Red Oak St. - Charlotte, NC 28217. Lunch is optional, and there is a convenient cafe just down the hall from the Conference Room for anyone who would like to pick up something to bring into the meeting. Bringing lunch from somewhere else or a bag lunch is fine as well.
